Took my dog out just now and was looking around at all the pretty frosty scenes - then happened to look across the road and saw the herd of elk!! So cool. Took some nicer pics on my digital camera, but don't have time for editing at the moment. But I do have a fuzzy cell phone pic to share. LOL.

They're so pretty in the frosty field with the sun hitting the trees behind them. Such a nice sight to see this morning. ^__^

Rodents may not be my favorite, but capybaras are pretty darn cute. ^__^

It is supposed to be 100 degrees F today, so I am hibernating in the house. lol. No cooking going to happen, but there are a couple of recipes that look really good and then a whole page dedicated to meals you can just throw in the freezer for the future. Absolutely awesome.
This one is marinades for chicken: throw the frozen chicken pieces in the marinade and freeze, and then they're automatically marinating when they're defrosting! Brilliant. lol.

This is such the coolest thing! A photographer managed to capture a lioness who took on a crocodile so the pride and the cubs could cross safely. WOW!! So cool.

I'm pleasantly shocked to report that the connection with my desktop is being quite nice tonight! Got some albums uploaded to my itunes and have been able to surf DW & LJ rather peacefully. Going to go see if my luck holds out for Facebook, but it will probably not for that. LOL. We'll see. Getting caught up with LJ was more than I was hoping for, so it's been a good night that way. :P
